Two things to think about:
I'm ecstatic that there will be a different director for New Moon. So ridiculously excited. Maybe they'll also heed my request to get a different Bella! Hah jk. Unlikely.
Secondly, why is it that people in the library must always glance up from their work to stare at you as you walk past? I've come to a few conclusions. One is that they're worried that you'll attack them, steal their books, or their highly coveted study spot. It's really a defense mechanism at its basest level. Another theory is that they think you are someone they know. Because when you're doing work, spotting a friend nearby is actually a quite welcome break. Given the small school we attend, the chances of seeing someone you know are pretty high. And a third idea is that they just have nothing better to do.
The look of revulsion when you see me and realize you don't recognize me is kind of getting on my nerves though. If you're not going to have a pleasant expression on your face, don't bother looking. Moral of the story: mind your own business.
Those are just some things I was thinking about this morning.

based on my own actions i personally have decided that it is the second one. even though i dont actually know too many people i will always look wherever i am to see if i know the person walking by. just a reflex i believe.
however, more paranoid people could do the first one. i'm not saying it's not a solid theory or anything. haha.
